About the Program
The WPGE Corporate Mentorship Program is designed to help women in the Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering become more knowledgeable about the industry and explore concepts and trends in their chosen field. The program helps women develop their communication and research skills as they work with their corporate mentor throughout the fall and spring semesters to choose and research an element of the industry that interests them. The WPGE Corporate Mentorship Program culminates with a reception where WPGE students present their findings as a research project or as an outreach activity to explain concepts and excite kids about PGE. Corporate mentors and partners, faculty, staff and WPGE members are invited to participate in the culminating reception.
